Friends of LIME
Friends of the Lafayette Initiative for Malagasy Education (LIME) was founded to support the efforts of LIME, an exchange program between Lafayette College in Pennsylvania and several Lycées (high schools) in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

FLIME works to connect alumni of both the LIME student and mentorship programs to further academic and professional opportunities while providing financial support to the LIME program.
About the Lafayette Initiative for Malagasy Education (LIME)
"The Lafayette Initiative for Malagasy Education (LIME) is a mentoring and exchange program between undergraduate students from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania and high school students from Lycée Andohalo in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
Now entering its 15th year, LIME has enabled hundreds of Lafayette College students to travel to Madagascar over the winter break to lead classes on English and the American college application process. In doing so, LIME has provided support to the twelve outstanding Malagasy students who have successfully studied at Lafayette College as well as hundreds of other students, from the first LIME 1 to the current LIME 14 cohort, who have pursued studies and opportunities closer toome.

LIME brings joy to all who participate in it. For undergraduate mentors, LIME represents the opportunity to engage meaningfully with a fantastic community of eager learners. For LIME members at Lycée Andohalo, the program allows them to dream big, surround themselves with a supportive, motivated community, and reach their highest potential.
Over fifteen years, LIME has changed hundreds of lives while strengthening the opportunities available to Malagasy youth. Hopefully, it will continue to inspire and support learning and cultural exchange long into the future." ~ The 15th Anniversary LIME Anthology
